A year before "Airbnb Trips" were launched, I worked closely with CEO Brian Chesky and a small team at Airbnb to craft the first successful "Trip" that the rest of the trip models would soon be based off of. This is the story of Francisco, a Chilean architect visiting San Francisco for the first time and connecting with a side of himself he has kept hidden for the majority of his life.
